“There are few mutants who walk the line between chaos and control as effortlessly as Neena Thurman, known to the world as Domino. She is a mercenary, a strategist, and a survivor—one whose very existence defies probability itself.

Domino’s mutation is subtle yet extraordinary: subconscious telekinetic probability manipulation. In simpler terms, she is lucky. Bullets miss their mark, obstacles shift in her favour, and the impossible bends to accommodate her survival. But luck is not merely a passive force – it is a weapon, one she wields with precision.

Her origins are steeped in secrecy. She was the result of Project: Armageddon, a government experiment designed to create the perfect weapon. She was the only survivor, deemed a failure because her abilities could not be controlled. Freed from the program, she carved her own path, becoming a mercenary, an operative, and eventually, an ally to the X-Men.

Domino has fought alongside X-Force, standing beside warriors like Cable and Wolverine, navigating missions where survival was never guaranteed. She has faced enemies who sought to manipulate her, governments that wished to erase her, and forces that underestimated her. And yet, she remains.

There is a misconception that luck is effortless – that it requires no skill, no strategy, no sacrifice. But Domino knows better. She has fought for every victory, endured every loss, and shaped her own destiny, one improbable moment at a time.

She is not simply fortunate. She is unstoppable.”

FIRST APPEARANCE: Deadpool 2
PLAYED BY: Zazie Beetz

Domino, also known as Neena Thurman, is a mutant mercenary with the extraordinary ability to manipulate probability in her favour – essentially, she’s always lucky. She joins X-Force, a ragtag team assembled by Deadpool to protect the young mutant Russell Collins (Firefist) from Cable, a time-traveling soldier with his own agenda. While Deadpool initially doubts the practicality of her powers, Domino quickly proves him wrong, effortlessly navigating chaos with an uncanny ability to avoid danger while everything around her falls apart.

Unlike the rest of X-Force – who meet unfortunate ends during their disastrous parachute drop – Domino survives unscathed, landing gracefully and immediately taking charge. Her luck-based abilities allow her to infiltrate the Essex House for Mutant Rehabilitation, where she uncovers the abuse suffered by the orphaned mutants, including Russell. She plays a crucial role in the final battle, using her skills to help Deadpool and Cable take down Juggernaut and prevent Russell from embracing a darker path.

FIRST APPEARANCE: Hindsight (Part 2)
VOICED BY: Gwendoline Yeo

Domino plays more than one role in this reality. In the present day she is a reluctant member of the Brotherhood, going along with their missions as she believes humanity will exterminate them. She doesn’t follow Magneto or Quicksilver blindly however, and is a voice of reason that keeps the other members, all male, calm.

The version of Domino that Professor Xavier encounters in the future is unknown to him, but she knows him, and it even sometimes involved in the missions the X-Men need to accomplish in the past. Although Xavier doesn’t know the details, he trusts Domino, and she becomes a member of his make-shift X-Men squad, determined to stop Mastermold.
