PERSONAL NOTES OF CHARLES XAVIER
“Cain Marko has been many things in my life – my stepbrother, my tormentor, my enemy. But above all, he has been a constant reminder that power, unchecked and untempered, can consume a person entirely.
Our childhood was fraught with tension. Cain resented me, believing that our father favoured me over him. He was right, though not for the reasons he assumed. My mutation allowed me to excel, to anticipate, to understand things beyond the surface. But to Cain, it was simply another way in which I had an unfair advantage. His anger festered, and when he discovered the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, it gave him the means to unleash that rage upon the world.
As Juggernaut, Cain became an unstoppable force, a living embodiment of destruction. He was not a mutant, yet his power rivalled that of the strongest among us. Time and again, he sought to break me, to prove his superiority through sheer force. And yet, despite his strength, he was never truly free. Cyttorak’s influence bound him, shaping his path in ways he never fully understood.
But Cain is not the same man he once was. He has walked the road of redemption, struggling to find a purpose beyond vengeance. He has fought alongside the X-Men, not as a mutant, but as an ally – because he understands, finally, that strength is not measured by destruction, but by the willingness to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
In recent times, Cain has stood as a vital defender of mutant kind, proving that his past does not define him. He fights not for personal gain, but because it is right. It is a far cry from the villain he once was, and though his journey is far from over, I am proud to see the man he is becoming.“

OTHER APPEARANCES: Deadpool 2; Marvel Studios’ Deadpool and Wolverine
PLAYED BY: Vinnie Jones (X-Men: The Last Stand); David Leitch (Deadpool 2); Aaron W. Reed (Marvel Studios’ Deadpool and Wolverine].

His most memorable moment comes during the battle at Alcatraz, where he chases Kitty Pryde through the facility, only to be tricked when she phases a mutant boy with power-nullifying abilities into his path, rendering him powerless [X-Men: The Last Stand].
After the timeline change, perhaps, he is introduced as a prisoner in the Ice Box, where he is freed by Firefist and quickly proves to be a nearly unstoppable force. He brutally fights Colossus, showcasing his immense strength and resilience. His battle with Deadpool’s team ends when Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio electrocute him, sending him into a river – though he survives [Deadpool 2].
